A Brand New Day

There's still a little snow on the ground, but it's 64 degrees here today! I've been humming this classic from "The Wiz" all morning.

Happy springtime, everyone!

I think it's safely spring!

We sang this song in music class when I was in grade school!

It's been 80 degrees and then 40 degrees here...up and friggin' down. Oh well...

Itcould be worse: I could be roasting in the balmy temperatures of the Hell of self-loathing with Clarence Thomas and Alberto Garcia..

plez- You're welcome! Inspirational, is it not?:)
maia - Finally!!
CC- Maybe we'd be better off replacing them with Michael Jackson (pre-dementia) and the ghost of Nipsy Russell. I think we'd be much better off.

Yes, this is a great ending to a relatively tough day. My kids are going to say, "That's not Michael Jackson" when they finally see "The Wiz".

Mrs. J-

This is an anthem I can only reach for when all is purr-fect: I'm feeling brighter than the sun, the kids are looking like friends, I've thrown away housework and plans of all sorts, and the jeans are fitting right.

I actually leap from sofa to loveseat, or, if we are outside, hug trees and do a two-step on the sidewalk squares.

Have some goodtime for me today...I'll find my way there again soon.

Kim -

Sorry, no goodtime was had for you or anybody here today (those babies were showing OUT. Want one? LOL).

But I think that if you watch this enough, you'll be on your way real soon. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go watch it again right now.
