Yeah I saw the Paul Mooney interview. And all I kept thinking was "why" they ask him about Kramer? I figured they don't know Paul like they thought they did if they believed he would "cosign" for Kramer. I was crackin up during his interview. I guess they haven't seen him on Dave Chappelle's show.
Wow! We are definitely on the same wavelength because I watched this video in the wee hours of the morning today. And then I proceeded to watch every Paul Mooney video on YouTube.
I love him! He is so funny! By the way, he either just came out with a new DVD, or it's about to come out called, "Jesus is Black".
But what gets me is WHY he's even punditing on these shows, or a guest on Jesse's self-aggrandizing radio show? Unless he's loving the exposure and playing folks (and even then that's a poor excuse to pimp), this matter has brought him a tiny, tiny piece closer to where, sadly, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle reside. That is, becoming exactly what they made thier careers making fun of or attacking. That (besides lateness and bullcrapping me a la certain African American authors who'll remain nameless but who's initials are...well...it's not Mr. J) is a cardinal sin...
